Description
This is one of those cases where somebody comes in with a fat wallet and an old, blurry snapshot, wanting to know what I can do with it... I took all kinds of liberties, lowered the horizon line, shortened the wall width, went vertical with the composition. I think I got somewhere? (original [link])
Graphite (0.05 mechanical pencil) on tag-board 24"x36". I'll spray it with a fixative and lightly glaze in some oils for color, give it that look of a hand tinted photo graph.

I really prefer the altered horizon line in your version 
It expands the image more in a sense and improves the composition; the figures aren't being all boxed in anymore
